P3 Project Pursuits

Working alongside some of the largest players in the industry, Amico is currently involved
in several significant P3 project pursuits in Ontario. Public-Private-Partnerships, or P3s, is a
form of Alternative Financing and Procurement (AFP) that involves a formal collaborative
arrangement between the public and private sector in several initiatives. Amico is part of
the Equity and Construction Joint Ventures for each of the following pursuits.

                        HURONTARIO LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT

                               Client: Metrolinx I Budgeted Value: $1.4B CAD I DBFOM
                               This 20 km rapid rail transit project will connect the cities of
                               Mississauga and Brampton, including a service loop around Square
                               One. Work also consists of 22 surface stops, an Operations and
                               Maintenance (O&M) facility, and a 30 year O&M agreement.

  HIGHWAY 401 WIDENING

  Client: MTO I Budgeted Value: $800M CAD I DBF
  This major highway project includes the widening to 8 - 10 lanes
  of an 18 km stretch of Highway 401 from Mississauga to Milton.
  Some of these lanes will be High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV)
  Managed Lanes.

                        RER-LAKESHORE WEST

                               Client: Metrolinx I Budgeted Value: $600M CAD I DBF
                               The project runs the corridor from downtown Toronto through
                               Mississauga-Oakville-Burlington and terminating in Hamilton.
                               Scope of work includes track alignment, two road-rail grade
                               separations and construction /or renovation of six station buildings.

  HAMILTON LIGHT RAIL TRANSIT

  Client: Metrolinx I Budgeted Value: $1.3B CAD I DBFOM
  The project includes 14 km of a new light rail system with 17
  at-grade stops. The new system will provide transit service
  from McMaster University to Hamilton’s East End through the
  downtown corridor, and a 30 year O&M agreement.
